The Journey Begins
Teledyne Valeport has, for more than 50 years, provided sensors and instrumentation for hydrographic and oceanographic survey in both the commercial and academic market places. What is less known is that for more than 15 years Teledyne Valeport has provided sensors and instrumentation specifically for the water industry too.
Teledyne Valeport’s expertise and understanding of signal processing, low power PCB design, high tolerance manufacture and the calibration of instrumentation that can survive the most extreme environments is equally as important in an industry that is ever increasingly recognised as vital to our wellbeing, Water.
Teledyne Valeport Water Ltd is new, but it already has a long history of success. We will start with the Type 804 Electromagnetic Insertion Flowmeter and the Type 810 Doppler Continuous Wave Flowmeter. We will provide Fluorometers and Turbidity sensors with their associated Loggers and Telemetry systems. From there we will provide the sensors developed for Valeport’s core saltwater businesses but uniquely adapted for freshwater. There is then the exciting prospect of new developments and technologies, some already in development and some just an idea on paper.
Teledyne Valeport Water would like to engage with all parties to develop solutions to problems both new and old.
After the Valeport group was acquire by Teledyne in 2024, Teledyne Valeport Water benefits from the collective innovation and experience of leading-edge subsea technology companies under the umbrella of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated.
